Best-of-breed with SAP NetWeaver

Together with T-Systems, Xcitec® has integrated its best-of-breed supplier management software solution into SAP NetWeaver, assimilating three of its core competencies: the Enterprise Portal (EP), Web Application Server (WAS) and Exchange Infrastructure (XI), which enables data exchange with the SAP systems.

The integration of the Xcitec® software solution into the SAP Enterprise Portal has several advantages for Deutsche Telekom. The portal acts as a central entry point for seamless access to the Xcitec® supplier management software. Single sign-on enables the user to directly access the Xcitec® software from the portal without having to log in again. A mature roles and privileges management ensures that users only have access to the applications and data for which they are authorized.
