ELP Award for Xcitec® Customers (05/30/2007)

For the first time, the European Leaders in Procurement Award was presented in London. Xcitec® customers were distinguished for their exceptional purchasing success in two of five categories: Vodafone won the ELP Award for Corporate Responsibility, and RWE received the rating „highly commended“ in the “Procurement Excellence” category.

The ELP Award honors achievements in purchasing and procurement. It is awarded to individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to purchasing through their performance and innovation during the past year.

Vodafone established Corporate Responsibility as an integral part of its Supplier Performance Management. During this process, which is supported by Xcitec® software, suppliers are qualified, rated and developed based on ethical criteria. RWE and Xcitec® work together to implement 360° supplier management.
