Reverse Rating – for Mutual Satisfaction! (01/23/2008)

Xcitec® raises the bar for supplier rating by expanding its software solution to include reverse rating – suppliers rate themselves and/or the company they supply.

Xcitec® supplier rating creates transparency regarding supplier strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, the reverse rating method now actively integrates the suppliers themselves in the assessment process.

Reverse rating can be used in two ways: Suppliers can evaluate the company they supply. Suppliers can also evaluate themselves. A company decides which of these evaluation methods to implement according to its supplier management strategy and feedback. All participants thereby benefit from reverse rating: differences between self-perception and external perception can be identified and provide the basis for well-founded optimization talks. Furthermore, the company supplied receives valuable feedback regarding the improvement of its processes and organization.
