swb AG chooses the Xcitec® solution for its strategic purchasing. The North German energy provider’s main objectives are to attain a transparent supplier portfolio, identify optimization potential, increase competitiveness and expand strategic partnerships.
In order to sustainably pursue and reach these goals, swb has opted for comprehensive supplier management using the Xcitec® software solution for supplier questionnaires, rating and development.
In order to provide an overview of the entire supplier portfolio, an extensive database will be constructed containing comprehensive information and results from the Xcitec® supplier management solution: information regarding new and current suppliers, supplier evaluation results with information about supplier performance as well as the suppliers‘ strategic significance. Furthermore, the development targets agreed upon with the supplier and the measurements are defined in the supplier database, in order to secure optimization sustainability.
