In light of the current economic situation, purchasing is challenged with attaining cost savings for their companies. The new Xcitec® software module Procurement Controlling plans, evaluates and monitors savings achieved, thereby measuring the value contribution of a company’s purchasing.
The Xcitec® Procurement Controlling module maps the cost savings initiative process with planning and an analysis of the current situation to document these initiatives and monitor the corresponding savings. Inspection and approval workflows ensure high data quality. Savings are differentiated according to their origin (e.g. demand pooling, negotiation, standardization, design to cost) and effect (one-time, ongoing and investment savings).
The Xcitec® software solution provides a complete overview of all savings according to organization, material group and degree of realization. It also creates transparency regarding target and target fulfillment in purchasing. The results are evaluated across the entire company and consolidated.
