Martin Berr-Sorokin, Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing.

Martin Berr-Sorokin takes responsibility for Marketing, Human Resources and Legal.

Martin Berr-Sorokin gained his initial professional experience 1993 at Siemens Corporation in logistics consulting at Corporate Logistics North America, USA. In parallel he studied at Rutgers State University, New Jersey. With a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Munich University of Applied Sciences he joined Corporate Purchasing at Siemens Germany. First responsible for coordinating corporate-wide procurement of software licensing and software development services he then founded and directed the Siemens International Procurement Office in Prague to open up new purchasing markets in Eastern Europe and to support global sourcing activities. From 1996 on, he then managed the conception, development and company-wide implementation of IT systems for strategic purchasing at Corporate Purchasing, Siemens Germany. Following he became founding member of Siemens Procurement and Logistics Services with the responsibility for new business development. He expanded his management skills through management trainings while increasing his purchasing competence and methodological know-how through continuing professional education. Martin Berr-Sorokin has been a founder of Xcitec® in 1999 and a Managing Director since 2000. His experience in operational and strategic purchasing drives the innovation for the Xcitec® software solutions.


Uwe Krieger, Dipl.-Informatiker

Uwe Krieger heads Finance, Controlling, Product Management and Technology.

During his studies, Uwe Krieger gained his first experience in developing software applications for customers successfully. With a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich in 1994 he founded his own company for software consulting offering solutions to medium enterprises and large corporations as well. Uwe Krieger specialized in software systems for purchasing controlling and supplier management. A key project was managing the technical conception and programming for the Siemens corporate purchasing information system. In 1999, he founded Xcitec and, as Managing Director, has been in charge of finance, controlling and software development. Uwe Krieger’s extensive knowledge of technology and development processes ensures the guaranteed future, compatibility and quality of Xcitec® software products. His continued education in general management has enabled Uwe Krieger to expand his knowledge of finance and controlling and to establish a professional and highly efficient financial management for the growing company. This secures a balanced relationship between turnover, cash flow and EBIT while creating the necessary transparency for company management.


Florian Winterstein, Dipl.-Betriebswirt

Florian Winterstein heads up Business Development, Sales and Professional Services.

After completing his business degree in Business Administration, Florian Winterstein gained his first professional experience in management consulting. In 1993, he set up his own management consulting company, focusing on business process optimization and standardization as well as on economic viability in industrial and service companies. In 1998, he brought his experience and know-how to the national and international sales department of the ATOSS Group. In 1999, he founded ATOSS’ subsidiary in Switzerland, developed it into profitability and returned in 2002 as Director CRM and Key Accounts to the ATOSS Group. He reorganized the CRM department and implemented a consultative sales process for key accounts, fundamental for a significant and sustainable increase in revenue and profitability. Florian Winterstein consistently strives for a combination of software solutions and consultancy for supporting business processes. In order to further his competencies in change management and business transformation he completed additional training in systemics, transaction analysis and group dynamics at the International Management Institute in Hernstein. In 2004, Florian Winterstein became Director of Business Development at Xcitec® and a member of the managing board. In leading sales and consulting he ensures sustainable revenue and company growth.
